This problem is resolved. File -> Quit no longer segfaults in OpenBSD amd64 or i386.

This might be due to unsafe refcounting.

Is the original submitter able to reproduce the bug consistently
so to test an eventual implementation with this atomic counter ?

This is due to not-proper threads shutdown on exit. See task #6959

The subject segfault occurs after viewing a youtube video and then issuing File -> Quit from the gui. The segfault occurs on OpenBSD 4.1-current for both i386 and amd64 architectures and appears to have an identical backtrace. I have attached gdb session transcripts including the backtrace for both archs.

The segfault can be reproduced by:

and then exiting the gnash gui.
