Hi Christian i think i've found the problem, I think that the move filter in the analysis settings was set to user defined, and i don't know what setting it was because i haven't messed with it, but when i put the move filter to normal and re ran the 2 ply analysis i got the answer i expected, I'd played horribly, not supernatural at all.

Thanks for your time and sorry for wasting it, i know you guys do this voluntarily and i really appreciate it, thanks again.

I'm unable to reproduce this problem. Could you try importing and analysing the match again, and if the results are still strange attach your gnubg settings file.

Mine is located here

in attached match, initial analysis on 0ply showed i'd played awful, as a beginner i expected this, then i played with gnu settings and put analysis to 2 ply gnu. it then said my checker play was supernatural but my cube play was beginner. I wasn't convinced my checker play was supernatural so i took a look at the game analysis. I brought up the analysis window and in game 1 my 9th move roll of 52 i run with a back man 22/15. in the analysis window this is clearly v bad with 8/3 5/3 being a clearly superior move in analysis yet gnu still ranks my move 22/15 as the number 1 move and doesn't class it as either bad or v bad.
