=============
I have submitted comments before. I just wanted to say that the latex converter has come a long way - I'm quite impressed. It would be nice to specify some features of the translation process, but otherwise it is great.
One request: the angstrom symbol in math mode, \AA.
Joris:
======
Thanks for your email. Adding \AA would be quite dirty at the current stage.
I recommend you to replace your \AA's by a new macro like \mathAA or \maa and
define this macro in a personal TeXmacs package or at the start of your document.
David, can you add the request on the wish-list for later?
David:
======
I would do so, but I do not really understand what the request is
about (thus I cannot categorize it properly).
Is that a request for the Editor (adding a latex shortcut for angstrom
symbol, whatever its name in TeXmacs), for the typesetter (adding AA
as a symbol name for angstrom), for the converter (properly converting
\AA's in latex documents and, if relevant, exporting using this
symbol) or for a combination of the above?
Yael:
=====
the \AA latex code translates fine from TeXmacs into latex now, but I'm
referring to the typesetter. I could not find a symbol in the TeXmacs
menus that was an angstrom symbol nor could I type \AA to get the
angstrom symbol in TeXmacs.
