I suppose we can close this one now?

I have no Mac experience so I can't help you there.

As for your suggested changes either attach the diffs or files here or better yet send them to -unavailable- and we'll take a look.

I would need some help to get the Mac version distributed. With darwinports I've got a working copy of gnubg with all features (3d board, sound and Python) running on my machine, but so far I wasn't successful to get rid of the hard coded libraries.
I've copied all necessary darwinport libraries into a gnubg deployment folder and put a bash script together that goes through gnubg and recursively all used libraries using otool and change the absolute path name to a relative path name of the libs. Neither gnubg nor any of the libraries point to anything in /opt/local/lib anymore.
Gnubg starts after some warnings from glib and pango, but doesn't crash and you can play a game. The problem is thath all text is replaced by empty rectangles for each letter. Anybody has any idea how to configure pango, glib and/or gtk do work without being properly installed?

I also had to made some small changes to configure.in and sound.c to make it work with Tiger. Basically I've got rid of QuickTime and used esd instead. Apple deprecated a function in Tiger that was available in Panther. I think instead of trying to catch up with Apple's newest tricks with every release, it would be better to stick with unix tools for the future.
Whom can I send these files to for review and possibly inclusing in future releases?

I've also made some changes to import.c that could benefit all systems. Nackgammon mat files are automatically recognized and imported. For GamesGrid mat files I filter out the player names correctly and set the ratings in the matchinfo structure.
I also included the date in the matchinfo based on the date of the file.

Please let me know whom I can contact for the files.
Oh, I forgot, I've used gnubg 0.15 release version.
