Closing due to lack of activity. Please check out nano 2.1.6 which was released yesterday and feel free to reopen this bug should it be needed.

Sorry it took so long to get to this.

As far as I can tell, the only way that this could be happening is if you built nano with --enable-tiny and --enable-nanorc. You need --enable-nanorc to get the error message at all, and support for the "noconvert" flag is only left out if NANO_SMALL is defined (which it is if --enable-tiny is used). If this isn't the case, what build options are you using for nano?

Thanks in advance.

Here is my nano RC file
# Convert files from DOS/Mac format
set noconvert

I recieve the following erros

Error in /etc/nanorc on line 2: Unknown flag "noconvert"

I'm am using the 2.0.3 version, compiled from sources. This happens on all my platforms. PowerPC, Sparc, MIPS, and x86.
