The HEAD branch is in a non-working state right now, so unless you want to look at Jon's thread implementation it is suggested that you stick with an older version.

Reproduce:

Compile from a fresh CVS checkout with "./autogen.sh && ./configure && make" on a Suse Linux 10.2 (gcc 4.1.3) box.

Build process stops in ./gnubg, with this:

Adding another parameter (i.e. NULL) to the function call in the respective line is a workaround, but surely makes no semantic sense :)
