Apparently the search system is going to be redesigned by Joris. Reassigning.

I've implemented this feature for my personal use. I need to clean the code and push it to the SVN

Currently there is no way to disable incremental search in texmacs. Please provide an option to do this.

In particular, the cursor should not move from its original position if a perfect match is not found. Currently if I search for the word 'texmacs' and if that word is not present in the document, then texmacs can end up at word 'text' even though that is not the word I want.

Initially I asked for this on http://lists.texmacs.org/wws/arc/texmacs-users/2007-01/msg00004.html . Since there is no easy solution for this problem, I am filing a wishlist bug for this.

thanks
raju
