Anyway invalid so closing this item

Hmm, didn't know that it classified as a pentiumpro... I'm running ArchLinux, and using -mpentiumpro as well as setting --with-gcc-arch=x86_64 works fine.

Um, a dual core is a pentium pro, and not an x86_64, which is an Opteron. Does Gnash not compile with -mpentiumpro for you ? It works fine on my dual core laptop. It looks like "uname -a" does think it's on a AMD64, which OS are you running ?

It still puts the -mpentiumpro in the CFLAGS and CXXFLAGS

Actually it's a core 2 duo (intel), maybe that's the problem...

The first few lines from make dumpconfig reads:
Linux odin 2.6.19-rc1-mm1 #1 SMP PREEMPT Mon Oct 16 22:10:17 IST 2006 x86_64 Intel(R) Core(TM)2 CPU 6400 @ 2.13GHz GenuineIntel GNU/Linux
gcc -v
Benytter indbyggede specifikationer.
Target: x86_64-unknown-linux-gnu
But for some reason both CXXFLAGS and CFLAGS includes a "-mpentiumpro", which seems a bit misplaced... It's fixable using the --with-gcc-arch configure option, but i think it should discover this per default.
