It happens to me as well, to find out I right-click :)

It's working fine now. Maybe I confused an animated GIF with a flash movie, so the menu did not appear. Sorry.

Can it be that the plugin is invoking a different standalone
player then the one your manually running ?

Try setting the GNASH_PLAYER environmental variable
and then start firefox from that shell.
Try with an invalid PATH to be sure that variable is being
used.

No, I am using GTK/OpenGL. The menu works fine with the standalone gnash, but does not show up when running with firefox plugin.

We should potentially have a way to tell the difference. Maybe just having "Gnash --version" could print out the 4 main configuration switches, sound, decoder, renderer, and gui. This will be useful when tracking down bugs in other people's binaries.

Should we add a switch to gnash to report compile-time configuration ?

For the original reporter: can you confirm you're using SDL
so we can close thig bug ?

If there is no menu, it's likely you build the SDL version instead of the GTK version. If you are trying to build an OpenGL * GTK based Gnash, it'll force the usage of SDL is you don't have all the proper tools installed, after printing warning messages.

I am using the Firefox plugin, and I noticed that the GTK menu that appear in the standalone player right clicking the mouse, does not appear in the plugin.
