Here's a sample to test it out (see attachment). Ungroup the splitview and see strange things happen. It might make the scrollviews gray and uneditable or set them to nil so that you can't disconnect them. Attempts to regroup them seemed to make Gorm hang on quit.

drop 2 NSButtons onto a window,
(named button 1 and button 2)

group button 1 into a box (named box 1)

group box1 and the button2 into another box (box2)

ungroup box2

box 1 and button 2 are left, button 1 has disappeared.
