Can you send a backtrace ?
Does it occur by using the -r1 flag ?

0.7.2 was already working (and I confirm is still working).
The problema was only with head.

Actually if you could try now that will help releasing 0.7.2 as we are in final check mode (if there are segfaults release will be postponed until a fix is found)

I'll try as soon as 0.7.2 will be released.

Also a gdb backtrace would be good (if it can still be reproducible)

If you could run valgrind on it, it'd be a great help for me (since we are pretty much working with 0.7.2 and getting it released RSN)...

HEAD branch is curerently in horrible shape, please try the 0.7.2
branch as it is bound to a release in short.
cvs update -r release_0_7_2
