Indeed TeXmacs does crash in that situation. I managed to reduce the document in question further - see coq2.ts. It is remarkable that the crash depends on the editing and movement actions you take!

In my case, TeXmacs spits out the following error message on the console:

*** glibc detected *** double free or corruption (out): 0x08b60ad8 ***

Could that be due to the case that the document in question contains a "circular" assignment?

Forgot to mention: Crash does not happen if all lines before the line containing "pink" are removed first.

When editing the herewith attached coq.ts in the following manner, TeXmacs crashes 2 times out of 3 at some point:

1) texmacs coq.ts
2) with mouse, go to the end of the string "pink"
3) press backspace to delete the 'k'. TeXmacs crashed once there, backtrace in foo0.bt .
4) press backspace repeatedly to delete the whole "pink" string
5) press '\'; that is a possible crash point, but not always
6) type "with"
7) press enter - another possible crash point

Backtraces for crashes at points 6 and 7 as foo.bt and foo1.bt (bzip2-compressed, they are several megabytes).

(I have disabled all my own Scheme code to rule out the problem is from it by renaming my ~/.TeXmacs/plugins directory to ~/.TeXmacs/plugins.bak)
