it seems bug 17992 is unrelated, better to close some bugs or we'll drawn under them :)

I'd keep this open for a little bit more, would check how does
bug #17992 goes first...

With current cvs version, this bug seems to be resolved.

I was using opengl as a renderer when I submited that bug report first time. I couldn't build agg but with cairo my swf scene looked better, the stroke witdhs are ok now. So I think there's something wrong with the opengl rendering backend.

Still the cairo rendering isn't 100% since the the lines are little too short compared to how macromedia is rendering them. That's not a big problem but I just noticed it.

Which renderer did you select at ./configure time ?
Can you try with other renderers ?
(currently supported: opengl/cairo/agg)

Stroke width is thinner in gnash than it appears in macromedia's player.

Since this system takes only one attachment, I uploaded the screenshots in my homepage http://kanttu.emdia.fi/strokes/
