Glad it works properly for you now :)

I think now it should be pretty stable. The fatal error handling still needs some work, as does the json, xmlrpc and soap support.

Never found what was wrong - it s working fine now on both boxes after the latest cvs update.
(php.ini is identical on both)

Have you tried "diff"ing the php.ini files on both boxes?

Very strange this one - I have to comment out the
set_error_handler('phpgw_handle_error');
in functions.inc.php on one PC - works on the other.

Fresh checkout and php 5.1.6 on both.

Strange - tried it on a different PC - and it is working.
(PHP Version 5.1.6 on both)

However - the function lang() seems to be called inside the function phpgw_handle_error before the object $GLOBALS['phpgw']->translation is created.

Hmmm, it isn't nested here and it is working. PHP4 or 5? Are you sure the file is clean?
