That bug was not updated in a while, and we have not enough information to debug it.

Also, the ghostscript bug (which is clearly different) was fixed in 1.0.1.14.

This sounds similar to a bug I'm experiencing in linux. The problem I have is ghostscript hangs for some reason (going to try updating ghostscript) and TeXmacs seems to hang waiting for ghostscript to return. I don't have this problem unless I try inserting a image of some sort, althouth I suspect it may occur when trying to embed another postscript file as well. The solution is to switch to another terminal window and kill ghostscript, everything seems to work fine after that.

i suceeded in starting TeXmacs on solaris, thanks to your advice on libguile.

But then i've got a big problem: after a few seconds, texmacs hangs
completely ; i can do nothing more than moving the mouse pointer, even
the focus stays on the texmacs window

Have you got any idea ? How could i get more debugging informations ?
