Refer to task #5837 for follow ups:
http://savannah.gnu.org/task/?5837

(I'd add a dependency of this item on that task if I knew how)

Yes, that helped.

It seems we have problems with threading. Try to build with LOAD_MOVIES_IN_A_SEPARATE_THREAD undefined in server/movie_def_impl.cpp to see if this is one of those cases.

Just tried it and got the same result. I'm also getting similar errors when trying to open some of the files from server/samples (for example car_smash.swf and counter.swf). However some of the others open ok (for example display_list_test.swf and clip_as_button.swf). Output of configure is attached.

I can open and play the file. Maybe it was fixed lately (CVS is under eavy development). Please try again, and show ./configure output if the problem persists.

When trying to open the attached movie I get the following:

gnash: render_handler_ogl.cpp:176: void render_handler_ogl::fill_style::apply() const: Assertion `m_bitmap_info->m_texture_id' failed.

My system is Debian etch amd64.
