I'll close this item. Feel free to open a new one for the loading bar.

Vitaly, are both bugs fixed for you?
The first may be a problem of my FC5 (because I can't reproduce under my Slackware), but I think the second problem (the bar reload itself many times - while with Macromedia only one time) is yet to be fixed.

It works fine with me. Consider closing this item.

Seems that the crash have been fixed; however there are two last problems:

  • the loading bar starts before its rectangle border (I can reproduce this on my FC5 desktop but not on my Slackware 10.2, maybe is a problem of my system. Note that on FC5 all files I tried are having degraded quality, as if it is using software rendering, but I am sure it is using DRI)
  • the loading bar reload itself from the left to the right many times, while with Macromedia reloads only one time

With current CVS the "button" problem has gone for me (it finally waits until button is pressed).

This seems related to threading problems, see task
https://savannah.gnu.org/task/?5837

I have tried current CVS, but I still have some problem:

  • sometimes the movie seems to load fine but I get all character in the initial screen corrupted (this does not happen always and with the same corruption), the loading bar starts before its rectangle border and the movie go directly to the screen with the girl without waiting the click on the play game button.
  • one time I get this error:

lt-gnash: i810tex.c:420: i810BindTexture: Asserzione `(target != 0x0DE1) || (tObj->DriverData != ((void *)0))' fallita.
Abortito

  • some other time I get a:

10:06:23: Verbose output turned on
10:06:23: OpenGL extension version - 1.2
10:06:23: Got double-buffered visual.
10:06:24: Created top level window
10:06:24: note: couldn't open cache file 'file:///home/fabio/sorgenti/flash-test/SimGirl.swf.gsc'
10:06:25: ActionWaitForFrame: frame 4206 not reached yet (loaded 6), skipping next 1 actions
Segmentation fault

or the segfault appears later:

10:07:24: Verbose output turned on
10:07:24: OpenGL extension version - 1.2
10:07:24: Got double-buffered visual.
10:07:25: Created top level window

10:07:26: ActionWaitForFrame: frame 4206 not reached yet (loaded 302), skipping next 1 actions

This should be fixed in CVS, please give it a try.

I've fixed a bug in WaitForFrame action handler. The SWF is now correctly parsed (a single action must be skipped, not 16!).

Unfortunately, we now have another problem, as it seems that
the WaitForFrame action is not executed again after frame 4 sends control back to frame0, where it is found.

Now I get this error:
gnash: intel_tex.c:703: intelUploadTexImages: Assertion `!(intel)->locked' failed.

On This file http://funcop.net/SimGirl.swf I get this error running gnash -v (and never load):
20:48:12: ActionWaitForFrame: frame 4206 not reached yet (loaded 2), skipping next 16 actions
20:48:12: ERROR: End of DoAction block hit while skipping 16 action tags - Malformed SWF ? (WaitForFrame, probably)
20:48:12: static void gnash::SWF::SWFHandlers::ActionWaitForFrame(gnash::ActionExec&): testing.
