This turns out to be a installation problem on the users machine. Thanks for letting me know I can close this!

I was using debian unstable on x86 but as I said you should probably close this bug as the issue was simply caused by missing packages. I just didn't noticed that configure failed.

I believe that libamf/Makefile.am needn't contain OPENGL_LIBS. However, removing them there will likely show the problem in other subdirectories. I suspect there is a detection problem in macros/opengl.m4.

Could you add some more details about your build platform, such as distro, architechture, et cetera?

Whoops, sorry, please close this. I should have used "./configure && make" instead of "./configure; make" to make sure the process stops when configure fails. Sorry for wasting your time :/

Steps to reproduce:
cvs -z3 -d:pserver:anonymous@cvs.savannah.gnu.org:/sources/gnash co gnash; cd gnash; ./autogen.sh; ./configure; make

Expected results
gnash should build successfully

Actual results:
Build fails with the following messages:
