Many things have changed since this bug report, both in gnubg's GUI and the typical smaller screen sizes it is likely to run on.

On a 768-pixels-high screen, probably the worse size one is likely to find in 2017, I get 11 moves and 5 analyze moves, which seems adequate.

With the previous version I could see 20 lines of moves and analysis. With the new version I can only see 13 lines in a window of the same size. part of that is the greater font size but mainly it's the big gaps between the lines.
