Do you get a SEGV when running iso-info on that ISO from any of the libcdio distributions?

I looked at this briefly. I wasn't prepared to spend hours to download that ISO (nor do I have the disk space to store it). However, using your script running over all of the ISO's I had on my disk I was able to get a SEGV. Best as I can tell, the problem occurs accessing the object returned by iso.readdir(); when run from the debugger it suggests that some of the objects referred to were garbage collected already. If so, there is something wrong in trying to convert libcdio's C list into a Python list and since this is a SWIG "typemap pattern" I imagine that it will occur in other routines that also need to return "stat" lists.

Alas, I don't have the time to track this down. I had put in my bid for a google summer of code to work on this aspect (or any other aspect) of libcdio. But alas that was not to be.

So unless someone else will get more involved (hey, it might even be you), I'm afraid it may be a while before the serious time that is needed will be devoted to tracking this down further.

The attached script segfaults with some iso images. It is reproducable with the Kororaa image at http://kororaa.org/static.php?page=static060318-181203 (kororaa-xgl-livecd-0.2.iso).

I am using SUSE Linux 10.1 with python 2.4.2 and libcdio 0.76. Similar segfaults were seen with python 2.3.2 and libcdio 0.77 on Novell Linux Desktop 9.
