Assumed fixed in current svn code ... can't be reproduced.

Still unable to reproduce this with SVN head, and no other reports available. Suspect this was alrerady fixed in SVN or local file corruption etc.

Do you have any way to reliably reproduce this with svn head?
I'd like to try debugging it, but I don't know how to use Grouch to reproduce this fault.

I reinstalled gnustep from scratch today, grabing the last repository, and there is an annoying bug: in some widgets characters are just "dropped". I noticed it using Grouch.app, where the contact list window contained mangled contact names, as well as the conversation window. Strangely, the textfield doesn't seem to be impacted -- typed characters are properly displayed -- but the conversation textview is affected...

Same problem in TalkSoup, and probably other applications using NSTableView/NSTextView.

I am not sure where the bug come from; getting the revision date 2006-05-12 of base make things work fine, and there was indeed some string refactoring after that date that could be linked to the problem. But it could as easily be some bug in gui/backend that are triggered by the new code...
