The OS-specific notes are only for OSes which require
special treatment. So I wouldn't mention Solaris.

QNX seems to be quite funny. Can you tell me where I can get
the information?

Thanks,
Okuji

This might be introduced in "OS-specific issues".

In order to boot Solaris 8 on Intel, one should have the following lines in its menu.lst file

title Solaris
rootnoverify (hd0,2)
chainloader +1
makeactive
boot

Of course, (hd0,2) should be modified to conform the real situation.

To boot QNX one should have:

title QNX
rootnoverify (hd1,1)
chainloader +4
boot
