There is no assertion failed anymore, but gnash don't
show anything interesting. I have read the other bug, but I can't say if they are related.

I'll retest later, when flv support is better.

I confirm that it is closed in 0.7.2.

This testcase now seems to trigger the same bug as #15365 (due to createEmptyMovieClip).
We should probably open a bug for the createEmptyMovieClip and close both this and the oter redirecting to the new.
Anyway, for simplicity I'll close this (as the error in the summary is gone)

With the same .swf, there is now an assertion failed

gnash: impl.h:421: void gnash::character::set_matrix(const gnash::matrix&): Assertion `m.is_valid()' failed.
Aborted

This is an FLV player, and Gnash doesn't have support for FLV. This was aborting in the existing code for netConnection. When I fixed it bug, it then needed NetStream, which isn't implemented at all yet. This is on the TODO list, but not right away. (after the release)

That said, it is important for Gnash to play FLV video, since this something Flash is used heavily for. So I don't think it'll be too long before we can implement what's left to make this play.

The standalone player seems to abort with the following swf, but with a usefull error message, so I report:

http://wampas.com/download/videos/cep_guignols/flvplayer.swf

[dumas ~]$ gnash flvplayer.swf
terminate called after throwing an instance of 'std::out_of_range'
what(): basic_string::substr
Aborted
