Invalid on two counts ...

One ... the described behavior does not exist in svn and has not done so since about a day after my broken machine was replaced.

Two ... even when it did log that message ... the message was broken (which was why it got fixed) and reporting the wrong filename.

Three ... GNUstep is not 'forcing policy' in any meaningful sense, just attempting to maintain the integrity of its own file!

GNUstep is forcing policy on premission and is giving a warning:

"The file 'c' is writable by someone other than its owner.
Ignoring it."

This warning should go away as any access policy should be left to the user/administrator of the system and not forced by GNUstep libraries.
