Since I haven't heard back for over a month, I'm closing it. As far as I can tell, this bug is fixed.

I just checked in a patch that fixes all the library paths Gnash uses to default to the 64 bit ones. This should fix your problem. At least it works for me on the AMD64 FC3 system I have access to. ldd shows it has all the 64 bit libraries instead of the 32 bit ones.

The files with the output aren't attached. You have to add them using this bug report page.

Rob,

Attached are config64.out and config32.out, which are
the outputs of the specified command when the extra
options are/aren't included. Without the options, it
seems that configure grabs the 32-bit libraries, even
though my system is correctly configured.

Can you please rerun configure like this "sh -x ./configure [other stuff]", and send me the output ? Then I can look at how it got the wrong directory. Since you have everything installed in the default locations on your system, you don't need to specify any other configure options. All the libraries Gnash needs will be found by configure.

After running ./autogen.sh and
./configure --with-libxml-libraries=/usr/lib64 --with-zlib-lib=/usr/lib64 --with-jpeg-lib=/usr/lib64 --with-png-lib=/usr/lib64 --with-mad-lib=/usr/lib64 --with-ogg-libraries=/usr/lib64 --with-vorbis-libraries=/usr/lib64 --with-sdl_mixer-lib=/usr/lib64 --with-opengl-libraries=/usr/lib64

(note the --with-jpeg-lib=/usr/lib64)

the resulting Makefiles incorrectly get the jpeg libraries
as my home directory, /home/srd. Don't know where this
is coming from...
