Thanks for coming back on this! :-)

Not sure what changed -- can't see any obvious change affecting BUNDLE_INSTALL_DIR -- it must have been fixed by some change since then though :-)

... anyway the important thing is that it works now, so I'll simply close the bug. :-)

Thanks

yes, this works for me now. Thanks for looking into it. I'm not sure what changed between now and then.

I tried it out and it works for me ... at least after sourcing GNUstep.sh.

My GNUmakefile was:

include $(GNUSTEP_MAKEFILES)/common.make

GNUSTEP_INSTALLATION_DIR = $(GNUSTEP_USER_ROOT)
BUNDLE_INSTALL_DIR=$(GNUSTEP_USER_ROOT)/Library/ApplicationSupport/GSTest

BUNDLE_NAME = Prova
Prova_OBJC_FILES = Prova.m

include $(GNUSTEP_MAKEFILES)/bundle.make

My Prova.m file was:

int test (void)
{
return 1;
}

Anyway, I can't see anything obviously wrong with BUNDLE_INSTALL_DIR.

Can you confirm that it works for you now ? If not, can you provide a more detailed explanation of how you trigger the bug ? ;-)

Thanks

PS: Please source GNUstep.sh before trying out ... if you try without sourcing GNUstep.sh it might not work but that's because the config system needs finishing, nothing to do with BUNDLE_INSTALL_DIR ;-)

the following GNUmakefile snippet used to work. it would install the resulting bundle into /home/rburns/GNUstep/Library/ApplicationSupport/GSTest in my case.

GNUSTEP_INSTALLATION_DIR = $(GNUSTEP_USER_ROOT)
BUNDLE_INSTALL_DIR = $(GNUSTEP_USER_ROOT)/Library/ApplicationSupport/GSTest

with recent changes to gstep-make the bundle now gets installed into

/path/to/this/GNUmakefile/GNUstep/Library/ApplicationSupport/GSTest

currently my GNUSTEP_USER_ROOT variable is set to

/home/rburns/GNUstep
