Thu 15 Dec 2005 07:07:33 PM UTC, original submission: In {GNU Make 3.81beta3 This program built for i686-pc-linux-gnu} remaking a makefile uses a custom search path which includes standard system libraries. However, unlike all otther targets it does not honor the VPATH and vpath search control directives. This precludes using existing source-location conventions for makefiles.
