The windows port has been dismissed. Current windows version is based on Qt, so the bug is not relevant. => Closing.

Hei,

I have downloaded the wintexmacs-1.0.5.exe and installed on Win XP-porf. When the program starts up, the following error will pop up and I have to close the program.
The error is: The instruction at \"xxxxxxx\" referenced memory at \"yyyyyyy\". The memory could not be \"written\"

It seems that it has conflict somewhere in the memory.

I have uninstalled and reinstalled the program many times.

Would you please give info about what could be wrong in this installation?
