Thanks for the report.

However, when cross-compiling, you have to prime the cache
by setting appropriate ac_cv_* variables corresponding
to run-tests.

Sorry, I thought I was logged. It was me who posted the bug. I forgot to mention that I was cross-compiling from a GNU/Linux system to a GNU system.

CVS version of coreutils fails to build in GNU/Linux due to undefined references. It seems that source files of those functions are not built, so libcoreutils doesn't know about them. When I try to add them manually to lib/Makefile.am automake gives and error saying they are automatically discovered and should not appear there.

Please tell me if more info is needed.
