Reports suggest it is working ok.

Fixed in stable CVS, please update to get the fix.

Hi Marcus,

I have just attched a patch which I think should fix this problem.

Can you please try testing it on your install. It seems to work fine on my LDAP sync'd install, but I couldn't replicate a segfault on my SQL only install.

Let me know how you go.

I agree that it is likely tp be a version specific issue, but I still plan to add a little logic to ensure that it doesn't just die on people.

Gimme a few days, I have been away relaxing in the country.

Well,

Could it be possible for you to use a php debug engine to see where the problem occurs ?

I think of something like apd for example ... could be a bug in php or apache ...
So we need version of php apache mysql ... to be perhaps able to reproduce the bug (but I seriously doubt it).

Regards,

Caeies

When the configuration of the addressbook is set such that the data is stored in LDAP, adding a user (not in the addressbook, but a phpgw User in the admin module) leads to a segmenation fault of Apache. Afterwards the user is in the (MySql)-table, but not in LDAP, it is visible in the addressbook, but the account is not created. The segmentation fault occurs somewhere in the function LDAPSync in the file class.contacts_sql.inc.php
