It would be handy to be able to attach a regex to a window (or all windows) which would be highlighted when found and persists untill disabled by being set to blank.

A grep like feature would probably be crazy but useful. A window could be made to show only lines matching a regex; say "^To: " then cating a mbox into this window (you wouldn't see your own command) would only show the To: lines. Whether or not history should retain all lines is up for debate.

Just a thought.
