Thx for this info, should have noticed that myself. ;)

actually http://www.infodrom.org/projects/manpages-de/ seems to be the upstream provider. ML doesn't show much activity. :-<

I guess this one can be closed here then. Sorry for blaming the wrong people. ;)

Thx,
Peter

The German version of the manpage is not managed as part of GNU findutils, it is part of the package manpages-de http://packages.debian.org/manpages-de

lately I have discovered a small problem with the find manual.

trying to get into the details I discovered the '-prune' option of find. It is missing an important point in the german translation of the manpage.

------snipp---------
-prune wahr, wenn die Option -depth gesetzt ist; sonst falsch
----snapp-----------

As soon as I put my locale to 'C' i understood the '-prune' option.

I also noticed the german translation differs quite a little bit from the original and a good deal of helpful context info is not included :-<

Debian/testing+unstable findutils 4.2.22

Thx,
Peter
