Closed as bug as gone away (and not reproduced).

How do I find my color depth? I have in practice worked around this problem by showing the relevant equities, but a usable qualitative signal would be better.

The crashing problem has stopped, I think because I am now running gnu-backgammon as a limited user and not as an administrator.

Hmmmm... what's your color depth?

I am a very new user of gnu. I really tlike the temperature map (though it would be better to have clearer gradation of reds or more colours, particularly to distinguish between the stronger reds). But this bug is that several times today the program has crashed while or immediately after I have used the map and invited me to send a report to Microsoft.

Any ideas how I can avoid this?
