Boot from your Windows XP CD and when asked whether to install, choose to enter the Recovery Console.

Then enter the command FIXMBR, which should remove GRUB from your system.

Hello!

Have big Problems with your Grub Boot Loader.

I installed Linux Suse 9 on one Partition of my second Harddisk to try a new system.
Therefore the Grub Bootloader was also installed and the booting for either Win XP Pro or Linux worked perfectly.

Now I had to use the Second Harddisk as Data-Backup and so I deleted the hole harddrive with its parttions.
Unfortunately I didn´t realized that the bootloader was on one partition installed.

Now the Systems doesn’t boot at all.

I deleted Lunix because I didn’t like it and I wanted to get rid of the boot loader. So I expected to boot my Win XP normaly.

After hours of trying (new installation, internet FAQ reading,…) I couldn’t find any solution.

Please please please help to get rid of the Grub boot loader, so I just can boot my old XP.
And please make your explanation easy, cause I cant handle the Linux system at all.

MFG

Ringer

PS: Erklärungen in Deutsch wären auch nicht schlecht
