There are no non-greedy variants in posix regexps, the matching otherwise looks right.

regexp-exec on the string "aaaaazaaaaaz
"." and ".?" give the same results (greedy match)
"a" and "a?" give the same match (non greedy match)
".?" and "a? dont give the same match
