the attached file could possible be used as a test case. the testsuite docs seem a little thin. I'm not sure if I got it right.

if launch is called on an NSTask, after terminate has been called, it will silently fail, without raising an exception. On osx an exception is raised.

From cocoa docs

- (void)launch
Launches the task represented by the receiver. Raises an NSInvalidArgumentException if the launch path has not been set or is invalid or if it fails to create a process.

I wasn't able to find NSTask in the openstep specification on the gnustep.org site.
