I'm having problems importing files in the .gam format.
I've attached one file created by gnubg, and one file created by gammon empire.
When I try to import the gnubg file as a .mat, I'm told it's not a valid .mat file. Likewise for oldmoves, sgg, Snowie standard text, and Snowie .txt.
If no match is in progress, I get the message:
No game in progress (type 'new game' to start one')
If I start a new game, then import, I get asked if I want to discard the game in progress, and gnubg crashes when I say yes. (This seems similar to the effect when I tried the BKG format)
When I try to import it as a bkg session, I get an assertion failure gtkgamelist.c line 453
expression pmr->mt == MOVE_GAMEINFO
This only happens when I've got a game in progress. If you do it from start-up, nothing happens.
As far as I can tell, the only differences between the two files are the spacing of the names at the start, and gammon empire adds " and the match" to the "Wins 2 points" message.
