This leaves stale sessions around, which built up over time. If one has an external program, say iCal, updating from phpgroupware every 15 minutes, you run up resources pretty quickly.

The solution is to add the line:

$GLOBALS['phpgw']->session->destroy($sessionid);

to the end of the php file.
