This is a bug in GTK! When you get a builg of GNU Backgammon based on GTK 2.6 it will be fine.

While running on a dual-monitor system with monitor#1 (default mon) on the left and monitor#2 on the right in the extended desktop mode, gnubg works fine if it is placed in monitor#1. However, if it is moved to monitor#2, all menu items, tooltips and dialogs still appear in monitor#1.
