An improved neural net plays these positions better.

Please upgrade when the next binary builds are available or by compiling it yourself from the source.

Not really a bug, just a bad neural net.

Recently, I played a 3pt match against mgnu_WClass on FIBS.

At dmp, my last 2 chequers got hit and with a bit of luck I managed to escape from the bots home.

Then, mgnu_WClass displayed some strange behaviour. It broke down its homeboard, I think to recycle stones, but didn't seem to make any effort to rebuild it. Instead, it started piling up on my 7pt and on my 13pt (10 chequers). By doing so, it dug its own grave, i reckon.

Analysis of the match at Supremo for chequer + WC for cubes gave trivial results; analysis at grandmaster (huge) + grandmaster rated the last game "Intermediate"; analysis at 4ply (large) + grandmaster rated the game "World Class" again.

Does GnuBG at even plies have trouble playing this kind of game? It clearly didn't play it as it should.

I attached the .mat logfile and I can supply the 4ply .sgf if needed.

Greetings and keep up the good work; you guys do a great job,

-- boomslang

PS : I do not know the exact settings of the mgnu_WClass-bot, but I think they can be found at fibsboard.com

(sorry i couldn't leave the Release field open; i dont know what release the bot uses)
