PDFs are currently searchable. This must be outdated. ==> closed

Correction: with "Page setup / Font type / True Type", the exported PDFs are searchable except for bitmap characters (like accented ones, which is unfortunate as my text is in Finnish).

I have seen searchable PDFs with bitmap text but don't know how difficult it is to generate them.

PDF export doesn't currently produce searchable files.

Doing a .tex export and running texi2pdf seems to fix this but it also scrambles many of my formulas (apparently because of an unsuitable font).
