There are lots of postions which vary (sometimes by a lot) in different plys, especially between odd/even depth plies.

Currently work has stopped on the neural net.

In the 4 positions attached you will see that the 3-ply and 4-ply evalutions differ a lot from the more correct 2-ply evaluations and the rollouts (using the expert level - not truncated games). In the games gnubg doubled playing on the Supremo level and all the doubles seems to be perfectly correct. But when I asked gnubg to verify on the 3-ply level the results were in all cases “no double, take”!
