The updated URL for this bug report is <http://lists.gnu.org/archive/html/bug-sh-utils/2002-09/msg00015.html>. As I understand it, the first part of the proposed patch (which replaces HAVE_LANGINFO_H with HAVE_LANGINFO_CODESET)
has been integrated, which means that the rest of the patch is not needed (as DATE_FMT_LANGINFO () no longer returns "").
If this understanding is not correct, please let me know.
