Still reproducible, though recent glibc segfaults instead of asserting.

Reported to http://sourceware.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=11053, closing this bug.

grep: regexec.c:1301: pop_fail_stack: Assertion `num >= 0' failed.
Aborted

tested against grep 2.5.1 and grep cvs (as of Jan 07 2005)

running configure with '--with-included-regex' does not result in an abort
