thats perfectly right. this was a reason to change the LDAP backend for contacts. Now the phpgw (0.9.16) just mirrors all contacts to LDAP.

I notice that version 0.9.14.002 doesn' t include the patch to see "only yours"

If I get the entire list of contact stored in an LDAP base I need to wait at least 40 seconds before I can see them. I have 500 contacts in the base.
I cannot see only my contact because when I select "only yours" I get back an empty page (why??)
During the query the http daemon consume all cpu and after the results are displayed the cpu usage descrease very slow.
I' m using apache-1.3.26 + php 4.1.2 + openldap 2.0.23
In attach a trace of the apache daemon during all life of the query. In line 2529 you can see 37 second of nothing and in line 2767 other 15 seconds...
The ldap daemon as no interesting activities.
N.B. This behaviour is non visible when I edit one contact or when I search the entire base for one contact
