I cannot reproduce that bug. Did you save pages while viewing the document?

After compiling, I ran gv as a test like this, from the top directory
of the distribution (the one containing configure.ac, etc.):
src/gv ~/whatever.pdf
After quitting gv, a temp file was left in the directory:
gv_419f5df3_1_.small2e.pdf.tmp
