The weight file can be found at ftp://alpha.gnu.org/gnu/gnubg/
However, the latest weights file, gnubg.weights-0.15, with the pruning net weights is not yet updated. Jørn? Can you upload, please?
The latest binary weights file is included in the Windows installation archive. Get that if you're in real problems.
To get the latest weights file, made by your own makeweights.exe, you should get the ASCII file called gnubg.weights-0.14.gz from the site above. Extract it.
Then read this this message:
http://lists.gnu.org/archive/html/bug-gnubg/2004-10/msg00064.html
Detach and extract the attachment of the message and then append the extracted attachment to the 0.14 weights file. In the first line of that file, you should increase the the version number to 0.15.
Now, use makeweights.exe to generate the gnubg.wd file. (There was a bug in some of the released versions of makeweights.exe. The weights won't be created if you're using "," as your decimal separator. Be sure you use "." or a build later than 03/11/2004.)
I'll close this bug when the 0.15 weights are uploaded to alpha ftp.
