I experienced this in 1.0.4-R3 (compiled from the source .tar.gz on Debian 3.0 stable) and I think that I have resolved my problem by not using a macro that I named "]" (close square bracket). The package file that I defined it in seems to still work fine, but files that use it cannot be reopened when saved. The files can be edited in the buffers indefinitly without any problem until you try to reopen them.

A file that used to work suddenly appears empty. But the source is still here, only TeXmacs shows nothing.

What's wrong ?
Can anyone try it ?

Thanks

Pascal
