Hello Christian.

The current system for uploading videos is a little clunky and I wouldn't really call it suited to mass uploading. See
http://lists.gnu.org/archive/html/audio-video/2013-09/msg00033.html
We should write some documentation soon.

That said, you can certainly upload GNUnet videos; if they are many, you should probably make a subdirectory for GNUnet under videos/individual-projects/ .

The alternative is waiting for the new system based on GNU MediaGoblin.

We'd like to get screencasts (with voice + subtitles) onto the audio/video site. We have the original files in various (AFAIK) free formats on our own server, which is fine for storing data but not so good for publishing. The files do contain subtitles, and it would be very nice if they were published in a way that users can access video+audio+subtitles. There are no licensing concerns (created by GNUnet for GNU/GNU project documentation, GFDL/etc/whatever we want).

Currently, this is about 4 short videos (90 MB zipped), but we plan to have lots more in the medium-term. Thus it would be important for us to be able to automate this process as much as possible. We can upload the videos to gnunet.org and we can provide you with ssh/scp/git/rsync access to the files there if that would work for you; similarly, we can push files to some GNU server if that is better. Key is to find a process that will allow us to post possibly dozens of videos at a reasonable pace and integrate the result with gnunet.org (iframe, etc.).
