From version 5, GCC has started implementing the OpenACC standard to use GPU functionality on any GPU. It is not yet complete, but we can start planning for it.

Corresponding source code
task #13900 was defined for a general way for programs to allow different threads (CPU or GPU) to read parts of their input data separately. It is thus not fully independent of this task.
